In the CIS99 model the number of clonogens surviving the radiation treatment follows a Poisson distribution, whereas in the BG model only 1 dominant recurrence-competent tissue mass may remain. We applied 2 fundamental Bayesian cure rate models to a sample of 770 pulmonary metastasis treated with stereotactic body radiation therapy at German, Austrian, and Swiss institutions: ( 1) the model developed by Chen, Ibrahim and Sinha (the CIS99 model) and ( 2) a mixture model similar to the classic model of Berkson and Gage (the BG model). We therefore evaluated a set of TCP models that take into account this censoring. Most radiobiological models for prediction of tumor control probability (TCP) do not account for the fact that many events could remain unobserved because of censoring. The activation energy amounts to 149.8 kJ mol −1. The activation energy of active dipoles in K 3Nd(PO 4) 2 was determined on the basis of the electric permittivity and the dielectric dispersion and absorption measurements. The electric permittivity and dielectric loss measurements were carried out, too. The effect of the synthesis method and that of the size of the phosphate crystallites on the mechanism of polymorphic transition have been discussed. For powders obtained by ceramic technique the β/α polymorphic transition takes place in a temperature range of 1148–1180 ☌ and is accompanied by two endothermic effects with the total enthalpy change of 53 ± 15 kJ mol −1. In the case of the materials obtained by the Pechini method, the polymorphic transition occurs at 1181 ☌ and it is assisted by one endothermic effect with the Δ H ph.tr. = 58 ± 9 kJ mol −1. The temperature and enthalpy of the β/α-K 3Nd(PO 4) 2 polymorphic transition were determined. The average crystallite size of β-K 3Nd(PO 4) 2 obtained at 480 ☌ amounts to about 30 nm. The materials obtained by the Pechini method show a strong tendency towards agglomeration. The obtained powders were studied using TGA/DSC, XRD, FTIR and BET techniques. The binary neodymium–potassium phosphate β-K 3Nd(PO 4) 2 was obtained by the ceramic and modified Pechini methods.
